The Centre is funded through grants from organisations such as the Department of Internal Affairs and Wairarapa REAP and from income made through renting our rooms and offices to local businesses, community groups and for private functions. We’ve also received many generous donations from the public over the years – everything from people’s free time and hard work through to donations of firewood to keep the Centre cosy during the chilly Featherston winter.

We would in particular like to thank these groups, individuals and businesses for their generous in kind assistance, volunteer time and services during 2016 and 2017:

Alan Brook Lawnmowing, Sheps Property Maintenance, Featherston's Lions Club, Genesis Energy, Erin Nesdale Property Brokers, Featherston Supervalue, Dick Smith, Ian Simons, Chris Miller, Mary Faber, JNL Masterton, The Chimney Man, All Season's Tree Services, City Care, Fulton Hogan. We would like to thank all the businesses and volunteers who helped during the 2016 and 2017 Wairarapa Art Sale, our office volunteers Jocelyn Konig, Chris Lewis and Indigo Freya, the folks from Featherston Community Garden Group, and the Toy Library Crew! For the complete list of supporters go to Our Supporters 2016-2017.

The Lottery Grants Board and COGS, managed under the Department of Internal Affairs have been particularly generous over the last few years supporting us with wages for the Centre’s manager and other operational funding. This has proved crucial in allowing the Centre to be managed as efficiently and effectively as it is.
