VACANCY – Centre Manager

The Featherston Community Centre Trust is looking for a community-centric person to manage the centre, its facilities and its operations.

The position will be part time, at 30 hours per week, and will require a broad set of skills.

The job description is available for download here, but in general, the Centre manager will:

  • Respond to user and visitor needs, creating a friendly, welcoming, comfortable user experience
  • Care about and be proactive in managing the maintenance of the building and the grounds, ensuring they are tidy and safe
  • Cooperate with agencies, organisations, people, and groups in order to best serve the wellbeing of the community
  • Keep good records and stay on top of invoicing and credit control
